In openSuse, distributor keep the grub themes at /boot/grub2/themes/. Grub themes should be kept on boot partition /boot/.Find the line starting with #GRUB_THEME and change it to GRUB_THEME=/boot/grub/themes/. How to install a grub theme: Extract the theme to /boot/grub/themes/ Edit /etc/default/grub file.After the sign = we should write the absolute path to the main theme file. In other words, we should write a string GRUB_THEME=/boot/grub2/themes/test/theme.txt.
